Ok, I've been requested by a bunch of family and friends to keep a blog/journal since the birth of Mia.  All of Andy's family is on the east coast and I have a bunch of relatives out of state.  They want to be updated on the lives of the girls which I completely understand.  I'm thinking of keeping a blog/journal thing to post pictures and updates of our lives. 

I've seen a few blog sites but they all seem to be open to the public.  Are there any that are private or password protected?  Or is that not convenient for our family to access?  I just want something that, once I let them know the site of the blog, they can go peruse it at their leasure.  So far, the only thing I post anything to is LJ which is not the format, I think.  Also, I don't want my family/friends to have access to my journal for obvious reasons.

Suggestions?

So Andy turns 40 on December 20.  I know I'm lame but I have no idea what to get him.  He is super hard to buy for and I just have no idea what to buy. 

He's not into electronics, games, or gadgets.  He likes to watch football (Indianapolis Colts and Rutgers), occasionally tries to surf and a real amateur golf player.  The thing is, with two kids and a new job, he just doesn't have much time to do anything.  Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?  Please help.
